Harvey Glatman spent
eight months in the Colorado State Penitentiary after he was
convicted in Denver on burglary charges from May 1945.
He was awaiting
resolution of those charges when he was arrested in Boulder. He
served eight months. When he was released, his mother took him to
New York to help him try to start over. He was arrested and
imprisoned there and was paroled in May 1951, according to
historical records. He returned to Denver to live with his parents
in their downtown home.
