his possessions but Miss Yeates's clothes, belongings and furniture
remained, the jury was told.

In the bathroom Miss Yeates's toothbrush remained on the side of
the sink and half used bottles
of shampoo were scattered at the end
of the bath. Many of the walls in the property were
stained black
with fingerprint dust, used by detectives as they tried to catch her
killer.
