The victim

Elizabeth Olten was 9 when she was stabbed in the chest, strangled and her throat was
slit by Alyssa Bustamante in October 2009. Her body was then dumped in a shallow
grave. Bustamante wrote in her diary that killing Olten was "ahmazing."
