The bodies were found in the village of Villers-au-Tertre in north-east France.

The skeletal remains were found around the property in Villers-au-Tertre, near Douai.

Police stand outside the property in north-east France where the eight bodies were found.

The tragedy is the latest in a series involving French mothers killing their newborns.

Investigation: It is feared that Cottrez may have used some of her medical
training to carry out the killings.

Pierre-Marie Cottrez, her husband, 47, was questioned by a judge but has not been charged at this time.
