Taiwan serial murder suspect Chen Chin-hsin (C) emerges in handcuffs accompanied by his
wife (R) and police after a 24-hour hostage standoff in the home of South African envoy
Mac Alexander November 19 in Taipei.

Chen, warned for a string of killings, broke into Alexander's home on Tuesday and held his
family hostage. The standoff ended on Wednesday when Chen agreed to give up his last
hostage, Alexander's wife Anne, and surrender to police.
