returned to his native
Caribbean
nation "to say goodbye to my family."
Mesac Damas fled to Haiti the day before his wife and five kids'
bodies were found.
Mesac Damas is arrested on September 21, 2009 in Port-au-Prince
after is wife and five
children were found
slain two days earlier in
North Naples, Florida, USA. Police said the
child victims included
three boys,
age nine, six and five, a girl age three, and a baby
girl 11 months old. The couple were said to
have a history of
marital problems
and domestic violence.

Damas was detained in

to Florida on an
American Airlines flight on Tuesday, September

confessed to reporters
that he killed his wife and five children in
Naples and that he wants the death penalty and to be buried
next to

dead Saturday in a Florida apartment, and authorities were searching
Sunday for the woman's husband, Mesac Damas, who had left the
country. The victims were identified as Guerline Damas, 32, and her
children, Michzach, 9; Marven, 6; Maven, 5; Megan, 3; and 11-month-old
Morgan.

are of injuries Guerline sustained during a
domestic disturbance between her and
her
husband of 10 years, Mesac Damas. Damas was charged with battery.
