January 1950 - The trial of Brian Donald Hume, 29, company director,
accused of murdering
Stanley Setty,
a car dealer, opened in No. 1 Court at the Old Bailey here on Jan. 18.
A torso alleged to be that of Setty,
was found off the Essex coast on Oct. 21.
