Rap Sheet: Jancar's criminal history includes two convictions for second-degree murder, one conviction for assault to commit murder and a conviction for manslaughter.

In 1983, Jancar, then a 17-year-old high school student, was convicted of murdering his father and his father's fiancee. He was a senior at Goodridge High School in Atlas Township.

Police say Jancar also shot his girlfriend and neighbor in the spree. Jancar had gotten into a fight at a party that night and later quarreled with his father when he got home. Jancar then got a shotgun from a bedroom and fired two shots, killing his father and the woman.
