Robert Latimer killed his daughter Tracy Latimer in 1993 by placing the 12-year-old in
a truck on the family farm in Wilkie, Sask., and pumping exhaust into the vehicle until
she died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

On November 16, 1994, a jury convicted Latimer of second degree murder.
