Dianne became one of the prosecution's
most important witnesses. She was a young 16 year
old girl who had
come to live with the Manson family with the permission of her
parents. She
had come from a broken home and took a lot of physical
abuse from Manson. As a result of
her presence at the ranch she
learned a lot about the murders from Leslie, Patricia, and
Manson.
In this photo she is escorted from the court by policeman after
testifying that she
also heard Watson's confession. She was
eventually taken in by a family in Inyo and with
kind treatment was
completely rehabilitated.
