Herman Perry served in the China Burma India Theater of World War II constructing the Ledo Road.

 

 

Six decades after his execution, Edna Wilson, Herman Perry's sister, arranged for his remains to be
cremated and brought to her home in Washington, D.C. Her brother's fate is chronicled in the book
"Now the Hell Will Start," by Brendan Koerner.
