October 23, 2008. Police said the 31-year-old suspect would face
charges of arson and homicide for
setting fire to a lodging house and stabbing dead five residents trying to
flee the blaze. A sixth
resident died when she jumped from a fourth-floor window in the
burning building. Seven other
people were injured in the stabbing rampage, most of them ethnic
Koreans from China.
