Robert ZARINSKY

Possible Victims

Nov. 28, 1958. In the confrontation that followed, Bernoskie exchanged gunfire with the burglars.

Rosemary Calandriello: Her disappearance in 1969 tugged at the heart
of Atlantic Highlands police Sgt. Sam Guzzi.

Rosemary Calandriello vanished on her walk along Center Avenue in Atlantic Highlands on Aug. 25, 1969.

Jane Durrua was killed in 1968. She was one of five teenage girls who has been brutalized before death.
No one had been charged in their slayings.

In the years since the brutal slaying of Jane Durrua, her sisters Dolores Ramirez, left,
and Joan Conway waited for her killer to be identified. Finally it was announced
13-year-old Jane had been slain by a sex offender named Jerry Bellamy.

It would be an examination of Jane Durrua's slip that cleared Jerry Bellamy of murder.

Scene after the crime: Authorities search the area where Ronald Connors
found the body of his young sister-in-law.

Police found Jane's purse (containing, among other items, colored pencils) and her shoes near the body.
